The Fender Custom Shop Limited Roasted Bighead Stratocaster Relic in Black is a striking instrument that blends vintage style with modern enhancements. Crafted by Fender’s prestigious Custom Shop, this model features a roasted alder body that provides enhanced resonance and reduced weight, along with a roasted AAA-grade flame maple neck for added stability and a stunning visual appeal.
The guitar has a classic black nitrocellulose lacquer finish, meticulously aged, showcasing authentic wear patterns, dings, and checking that mimic the look and feel of a well-played vintage Strat. This is complemented by the large 1970s-style “big head” headstock, which adds a bold visual element and contributes to the guitar’s distinct aesthetic.
The electronics include a trio of hand-wound Custom Shop pickups, specifically designed to deliver rich, articulate tones that range from sparkling highs to smooth, creamy lows. Paired with a 5-way selector switch, this Strat offers a versatile palette of sounds suitable for blues, rock, and beyond.
