The Fender Custom Shop '64 Jazz Bass Relic in Sea Foam Green is a masterfully crafted instrument that captures the look, feel, and sound of a classic vintage-era bass. This model is designed to replicate a well-played, yet lovingly maintained bass from 1964, featuring meticulous relic aging that adds character and charm. The Sea Foam Green finish has been gently worn to reveal subtle hints of the wood grain beneath, giving it a genuine road-worn appearance.
The body is constructed from select alder, providing a balanced tonal foundation, while the quartersawn maple neck is shaped in an authentic 1960s C profile, topped with a rosewood fingerboard. The vintage-style frets and a 7.25" fingerboard radius deliver a comfortable, classic feel.
Under the hood, it boasts hand-wound Custom Shop '64 Jazz Bass single-coil pickups, offering warm lows, punchy mids, and bright, articulate highs that respond dynamically to your playing style. With its nitrocellulose lacquer finish, period-correct hardware, and era-specific detailing, this Custom Shop Jazz Bass is a stunning tribute to one of Fender’s most iconic instruments.
