The Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition ’64 Telecaster Relic may look like the classic mid-’60s Telecaster, but it seamlessly fuses coveted features from across Fender's storied history. This exceptional Custom Shop creation starts with a resonant 2-piece select alder body, paired with a robust ’60s oval “C” neck crafted from maple and topped with rosewood for smooth, agile fretwork.
The guitar's fiery Hand-wound Loaded ’51 Nocaster pickups deliver the quintessential early ’50s twang, while the custom Greasebucket tone circuit allows you to roll off excess treble without compromising clarity. For precision intonation, the ’58–’63 Tele Bridge with compensated brass saddles offers superior accuracy compared to traditional 3-barrel designs.
All of these elements are finished in an ultra-light nitrocellulose relic coating, which beautifully emulates the look and feel of a well-loved vintage instrument.
