During the early 1960's the Kingston Trio's tight harmonies and hot picking earned them a worldwide following. They were considered by many to be the embodiment of the American Spirit. They are seen here with their Martin 6 string guitar, Martin tenor guitar and longneck 5 string banjo.

 

 

 

Dion DiMucci

Dion and the Belmonts - Teen idol during the early 1960's with hits like "The Wanderer" and "Runaround Sue", grew upa nd played some mighty fine acoustic guitar in the 1970's.

 

 

 

Gordon Lightfoot

"If You Could Read My Mind" and "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" were great songs that rang clean and clear on a Gibson B-45-12 String.
