REGAL
DOBRO …1930’s. A very unusual guitar. It is a small 13 ½” wood body guitar with a
rounded V neck in a sunburst finish.
This guitar has the look and feel of a resonator, but is actually just a
guitar. The Moons and Stars coverplate
and biscuit style bridge are sitting on top of a wood body with no resonator
beneath, It has a trapeze tailpiece,
segmented “F” holes in the upper bouts of the wood body. Slothead design with 3 on a strip side
mount tuners, dot inlays in the neck with a 25” scale. 12 frets free of the body, binding on the top
and back. Good sounding. OSC
VG++ $595
