As anyone who has ever played a Bozo guitar knows, they are unique and wonderful sounding. Many of them quite ornate, with elaborate pearl and abalone and herringbone inlays. The Bell Western design of acoustic guitars refines the theme of full body acoustics with great tone and sustain. Combined with the craftsmanship that defines each one of these masterpieces, the end result is a rock solid instrument with open ringing bell like tones.
Bozo’s original design is fuller
across the lower bout and the back is contoured somewhat giving it a bell
shape. It allows for clearer deep tones
and shimmering highs with extended harmonics.
You have to hear it, and feel the instrument vibrate next to you to
appreciate it in its fullness.
There are several designs and sizes that Bozo has created. There is a full size Bell Western model in a 6-string and 12-string version. It is also available in a cutaway design. A smaller version, The Requinto model employs a reduced 3/4 body size with a full scale neck with 16 frets clear of the body. The acoustic lead or soloing guitar sings like a bird, with perfectly clear highs and great sustain. Bozo also makes a wonderful classical instrument, 650mm board with his own wonderful headstock crown.
Bozo also makes a beautiful archtop, in a 16 ˝ inch size and an 18” model. These are highly ornate, with beautiful inlays work, with relief edge carving in the outer rims in the European style. The crowning achievement of the masters life work.
